Commissioned by Alicia Stepp to help dream OPAL’s own identity as a creative practice. This involved briefing, writing, story development, brand & identity development, strategy, and graphic design for everything needed to launch as a business in digital and print. The organic logo was born from an original drawing I created that morphs the OPAL letters together. An abstraction that conveys mystery and elegance. This symbol was used to create an entire library of additional symbols that are now part of the OPAL visual identity. Every detail was important, even down to selecting typefaces designed by women. The result is a stunning world of its own — OPAL is worlds in bloom.
